Job Opportunity: Breast Surgeon in Northern Illinois

Seeking BC/BE fellowship-trained breast surgeon or surgical oncology fellowship-trained candidate with a special interest in breast surgery to join our community practice in northern Illinois.

Our growing practice collaborates with plastic/reconstructive surgery colleagues and divisional partners. Responsibilities include managing benign and malignant breast diseases, with a focus on high-risk patients, survivorship, and collaboration with Gynecologic Oncology.

Support and resources include:

  • Quaternary support from the Division of Breast Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin
  • Dedicated breast surgery team serving a 12-county area with a population of 750,000
  • State-of-the-art surgical department with 15 surgical suites, daVinci robotics, and block scheduling
  • Comprehensive surgical services at UW Health, supporting over 280 providers in northern Illinois
  • Potential academic affiliation with the University of Wisconsin for those interested in teaching or research
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience: $379,731 - $444,588
