Compensation Range: $19.47 - $25.77/hour. Salaries are determined based on various factors including experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
General Summary

Performs complex secretarial and administrative duties supporting clinical, educational, and academic programs in Plastic Surgery, with responsibilities including calendar management, telephone triage, and data support.

Essential Functions
  • Patient Scheduling and Coordination: Manage calls, coordinate appointments, obtain medical records, triage inquiries, and use systems like Cadence and eRecord.
  • Document Management: Maintain and transcribe patient records, ensure accuracy, and utilize medical terminology and software.
  • Time Management: Balance surgeon schedules with clinical and academic commitments.
  • Billing and Financials: Obtain authorizations, perform billing functions, and understand ICD10 coding.
  • Office Management: Manage correspondence, coordinate transfers, and assist with hiring and coverage.
  • Practice Site Coordination: Oversee off-site locations, ensure compliance, and handle front desk duties.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma and 2 years relevant experience, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Medical Terminology knowledge, experience with scheduling software, and customer relations skills.
