Join Parachute, LLC in Quincy, IL is hiring a Physician Substitute to support donor health and safety. You will work with center staff to create a welcoming, efficient donor experience and uphold high clinical standards.

This full-time role requires state licensure as RN/Paramedic/LPN or equivalent, current BLS/CPR, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. You’ll join a fast-growing team with opportunities for advancement and cross-training across center functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and eligible to work.
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as RN/Paramedic/LPN or similar.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to ensure a positive donor experience.
• Maintain health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked and compliant.
• Cross-trained in all center functions including phlebotomy and station setup.

What You’ll Do

As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
