Pay Range

This range is provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$370,000.00/yr - $400,000.00/yr

Summary

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan repayment program. You must meet eligibility requirements and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000), and eligibility period (1-5 years) are determined after review.

Duties
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia services, including follow-up care and emergency management.
  • Provide peri-operative care, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthesia, and post-anesthesia monitoring, complying with standards; participate in rounds and relevant activities.
  • Offer expert consultation to CRNA, nursing, and other medical staff.
  • Engage in clinical care, bedside, and didactic teaching of residents and students, including lectures.
  • Document services through appropriate notes such as History and Physical and Anesthesia notes.
  • Provide morbidity and mortality data as needed.
  • Foster high patient and staff satisfaction.

Requirements
