Optimal Care is seeking a Physician Services Billing Coordinator to ensure accurate, timely processing of claims across Medicare, Medicaid, third-party payers, and private-pay accounts. You will manage submission, respond to payer inquiries, and help ensure compliant, efficient reimbursements.

This role rewards attention to detail, data handling, and HIPAA compliance within a clinician-owned organization located in Jackson, MI, with regular hours and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years billing experience in a clinical care setting or Physician Service environment.
• Accounting practices or experience preferred.

About the Role

Support the financial operations behind exceptional patient care by ensuring Physician Services claims are accurate, timely, and successfully processed. As a Physician Services Billing Coordinator, you'll manage key aspects of the billing and reimbursement process across Medicare, Medicaid, third-party payers, and private-pay accounts. From preparing and submitting claims to responding to payer inquiries, you'll help ensure services are billed appropriately while maintaining compliance with payer requirements and organizational procedures.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented billing professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with financial data, and seeing claims through from submission to resolution. You'll monitor claim status, investigate and rebill rejected or past-due claims, prepare weekly reports, assist with account reviews, and communicate with payer sources and internal teams to resolve outstanding issues. Through accuracy, persistence, and strong organization, you'll help strengthen reimbursement outcomes and support the financial health of Physician Services.

Location

• Office Location: 801 Rosehill Road, Jackson, MI 49202

Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree
• Minimum 3 years billing experience in an appropriate clinical care setting or Physician Service environment
• Accounting practices or experience

Pay Range

Pay Range $22 - $26 USD
