Position: Rheumatology Physician (ranks available: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) at West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division. The successful candidate will practice in Jefferson County, WV.
Responsibilities: Practice in Rheumatology, provide excellent patient care, and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, valid State medical license, DEA registration by start date, completion of Internal Medicine residency, Rheumatology fellowship training, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Location: Our Eastern Panhandle location is about an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD. It offers a rural atmosphere, lower cost of living, and easy access to urban areas, making it an ideal place to live. The area has experienced growth, with an influx of professionals and a rise in telecommuting and high-tech industries.
