Job description

Seeking a BE/BC General Radiologist with strong clinical and interpersonal skills to join our expanding system. Hospital-employed group of 4 Radiologists.

Currently, each Radiologist covers 13 weekends of call from home with teleradiology final reads on weekends and on-demand as needed. Call frequency will reduce with the addition of a new Radiologist. Holidays are shared equally in a fair rotation.

Responsibilities include reading 70-100 cases daily, with about 30% in cross-sectional imaging and the remainder in radiographs and ultrasound. Nuclear medicine and PET/CT are also performed. The group provides basic IR services, with some advanced IR offerings; basic IR skills are preferred. The practice includes a thriving full-service breast imaging program; candidates interested in breast imaging should be willing to read breast MRI.

Technologies include GE Edison TruePACS (upgraded in 2024), Powerscribe One (upgraded in 2024), and an EPIC EMR upgrade scheduled for 2025. The practice is committed to work-life balance. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

The system is a private, multi-clinic, single hospital system serving Northeast Missouri, Southeast Iowa, and West-Central Illinois. We are nearing completion of a $61 million renovation and expansion. The Medical Group comprises 18 specialties and over 45 providers, with a state-of-the-art office located in a Medical Office Building attached to the hospital.
