Job summary

Odyssey Locums is recruiting an Interventional Radiology physician for a 12/1/2026 to 3/2/2027 assignment in Robbinsdale, MN. Responsibilities include general IR and cerebral embolectomy with moderate sedation, in a high-volume hospital setting.

The role offers premium hourly pay, paid housing and travel, and a dedicated credentialing team to support the assignment. ACLS and BC/BE are required.

Qualifications

• General interventional radiology with cerebral embolectomy experience.
• ACLS certification required.
• Board certification/eligibility in radiology or IR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general IR and cerebral embolectomy procedures.
• Provide moderate sedation.
• Ensure patient safety and charting in Epic.
• Coordinate with hospital teams during 12/1/2026–3/2/2027 assignment.

The Role:

• Location: Robbinsdale, MN 55422
• Assignment duration: 12/1/2026 - 3/2/2027
• Shift Type: Varied 8a-5p hospital coverage + Beeper Call (Minimum 2 weeks per month)
• Average Amount of Call Back Hours: 1-2 times weekly for after hours procedures
• Patient Population: 100% adult
• Cases: General IR + cerebral embolectomy (no aneurysm management). Moderate sedation.
• Average caseload: 10 cases/day weekdays; 6 cases/day weekends.
• Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc: General IR + cerebral embolectomy (no aneurysm management). Moderate sedation.
• Site Charting System: Epic.
• Certification Requirements: BC/BE, & ACLS
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
