Job description

Job Description: Diagnostic Radiologist

The VA is in need of a Diagnostic Radiologist. This radiologist will interpret radiography, ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging studies.

Place of Performance: Services will be performed at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VAMC, 3900 Woodland Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19104.

Period of Performance: Base year plus four one-year options.

Qualifications:
  • Clear and unrestricted license
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology
  • ACLS/BLS certification
  • NPI registration
  • DEA registration
  • Up-to-date immunization records

VA Business Hours: Clinic Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No on-call required.

Scope of Care:

Contractor's physicians shall be responsible for providing radiology interpretations, including but not limited to:

  • Radiography
  • Ultrasonography (non-vascular)
  • Computed tomography (general CT, including thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities; excluding neuroradiology)
  • General MRI (musculoskeletal and body MRI, including abdomen, pelvis, prostate; excluding neuroradiology)
  • Vascular CT and MRI (aortic imaging and runoff examinations)
  • Fluoroscopy (barium and related examinations)
