Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Phoenix metro area is recruiting a full-time Interventional Radiologist with training in Interventional Oncology and an interest in advancing the field. The IR section comprises five fellowship-trained interventionalists and two advanced practice providers.

The role is 100% IR, with opportunities for moonlighting and adjunct academic appointments at MD Anderson and the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

BANNER MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER: PHOENIX METRO

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center is actively recruiting a full time Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team. The candidate should have training and experience in Interventional Oncology and an interest in advancing the field. Candidates who have demonstrated strong leadership qualities and a history of program development are highly preferred. Qualified candidates are required to be ABR certified/eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology.

The expanding section of Interventional Radiology is currently comprised of 5 fellowship trained interventionalists and 2 advanced practice providers. The IR section operates an outpatient clinic with support staff and participates in multidisciplinary tumor boards and conferences. The position is 100% effort in IR. Internal diagnostic moonlighting opportunities are available if desired.

Designed with experts from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the main campus has state-of-the-art technologies and a rapidly growing interventional oncology program. The candidate will be expected to contribute to a highly integrated team of radiologists and interface closely with the multi-disciplinary cancer program. The candidate will also be expected to meaningfully participate in our research, service, and educational missions. Accepted candidates are eligible for adjunct academic appointments at MD Anderson and University of Arizona, College of Medicine.
