Job summary

Avera Radiation Oncology Aberdeen is seeking a physician to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care within a defined practice area.

You will participate in a multidisciplinary team, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, maintain records, and educate patients and families while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. This role requires clinical excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with licensure to practice in the serviced state.
• Board certification or eligibility required; DEA license required upon hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to medical staff approved protocol and acceptable standards of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and family members.
• Maintains patient records and coordinates referrals with care team for quality care.
• Ensures patient and environment safety, confidentiality, and compliance with CMS/Joint Commission/OSHA standards.
