Astrya Global Medical Staffing has a Radiation Oncologist position in Jefferson City, Missouri. This 13-week locum tenens assignment offers night hours (10:00PM - 6:30AM, five days a week) with extension potential.

Pay ranges from $273 to $294 per hour, with SBRT/SRS capabilities and Epic EMR documentation. Board certification in ABR, licensure, and vaccine compliance are required, along with full credentialing support from the agency.

Qualifications

• Maintain ABR board certification.
• Maintain valid state licensure; IMLC accepted.
• COVID-19 vaccine requirements (medical/religious exemptions considered).

Responsibilities

• Provide Radiation Oncology services during scheduled coverage dates (Nov 23-25, Dec 21-24 with half day on the 24th, Dec 28-31).
• Work shift hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.
• Perform advanced radiation therapy procedures including SBRT, SRS, and related techniques.
• Maintain and utilize Epic EMR system for all documentation and charting.
• Provide care for patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (ages 18-99+).
• Manage an average patient volume of 15-20 patients per treatment week.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff including RN and Radiation Therapists.

Responsibilities for a Radiation Oncologist:

• Provide Radiation Oncology services during scheduled coverage dates (Nov 23-25, Dec 21-24 with half day on the 24th, Dec 28-31)
