Job description

Seeking a BE/BC Pulmonologist to join a hospital in SE Illinois.

• Primarily an outpatient position
• The Pulmonology Department offers services such as Pulmonary Function Studies and Pulmonary Rehab
• The Pulmonary Medicine physician will perform bronchoscopies, Pulmonary Function Test readings, and inpatient consultations
• Additional Sleep Medicine training is preferred but not required
• No call responsibilities
• After-hours nurse advice line available for patients
• Opportunity for research and/or academic affiliation

Founded in 1841, the city is the seat of Richland County in Southern Illinois. It has a strong school system, including elementary, middle, high schools, several parochial schools, and a community college. An all-weather airport is located about four miles west.
