Job description

The Department of Internal Medicine at this prestigious medical school is seeking a full-time, board-certified Pulmonary Critical Care Sleep physician to lead the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Associate Professor/Professor level.

Primary responsibilities include the expansion and further development of the division. The Chief will also undertake administrative, clinical, research, and educational duties, leading our growing academic practice and promoting expertise in medical education, complex care, quality and safety, and health services research.

Clinical responsibilities include teaching students, house staff, and fellows; patient care; performing pulmonary-related procedures; and engaging in basic and/or clinical research. Faculty share weekend call and are assigned to clinical services based on activities such as research, formal teaching at the undergraduate level, or clinical educator roles.

Candidate Qualifications include:
