Job description

A large national Telemedicine PSY group is seeking immediate assistance. You may work full-time or part-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm (no weekends or nights). The facilities requiring TELEMEDICINE PSY coverage are nursing homes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Geriatric PSY experience required.
• No specific Geriatric PSY training necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemedicine psychiatric services to nursing home patients.
• Follow-up consultations: 15 minutes per patient.
• New patient evaluations: 30 minutes per patient.
• Manage approximately 4 patients per hour.
• Refer or consult with Psychologists for psychotherapy and medication management.

Credentials and Equipment

• Must have a valid Medicare number and 855R.
• If you do not have an 855R, the group will obtain it within 2-3 weeks; credentialing continues until onboarding, which occurs a few weeks later.
• If you already possess an 855R, you may begin within 4 weeks.
• The group provides all necessary software.
• Your home computer must have a minimum internet speed of 3-5 Mbps for both download and upload.
• Any expenses to upgrade your home computer are at your own cost.
