Join our outpatient psychiatry team as a Medical Director in New York's Capital District. Located just 10 miles from Albany International Airport (ALB), 25 miles from Saratoga Springs, 90 miles from Poughkeepsie, 160 miles from NYC, and 180 miles from Boston, this role offers a strategic position within a vibrant community.

Position Details:

  1. Outpatient Psychiatry Medical Director overseeing clinical and operational aspects of mental health services.
  2. Work closely with the department chair to ensure access to high-quality care.
  3. Combine administrative duties (0.3) with direct patient care (0.7).

Team and Services:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 4 psychiatrists and 6 psychiatric nurse practitioners.
  • Services include adult and child/adolescent mental health clinics, integrated primary care, personalized recovery programs, and crisis diversion services.
  • Part of a larger Psychiatry department with inpatient and crisis units, ensuring comprehensive patient care through collaboration across services.
