Responsibilities
  • Serve as a recognized technical authority in Psychiatric medical care for diverse patient presentations.
  • Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans, including medication management and various therapy modalities.
  • Provide referrals to other healthcare providers and services.
  • Perform administrative, educational, and scholarly activities, including research and policy review.
  • Make recommendations for work method improvements and serve on relevant committees.
  • Provide consultation, supervision, and support to other healthcare staff.
Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens

Must meet education and experience requirements, including relevant volunteer work. Transcripts are required if qualifying through education.

Basic Requirements
  • Degree: MD, DO, or equivalent from an accredited U.S. or Canadian school.
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
  • Graduate Training: At least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree.
Additional Qualifications
  • Residency in Psychiatry: 4 years for GP-14, 5 years for GP-15, with no substitution allowed.
Salary Range
  • Tier 1: $121,020 - $300,000
  • Tier 2: $145,000 - $320,000
  • Tier 3: $165,000 - $336,000
