Job summary

Intermountain Health — Alta View Clinic in Sandy, Utah — seeks a Psychiatrist for outpatient care in a full-time role that opens a new clinic in Summer 2027.

You will provide outpatient psychiatric services as part of a dedicated team. The role includes a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with potential for four 10-hour days and ECT as required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Psychiatry completed.
• Board certification or active eligibility.
• Utah medical license with full prescriptive authority.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain one.
• Credentialing with Intermountain Health required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Schedule Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; option for 4x10s.
• ECT available/required as part of treatment when indicated.

About this role

As a Psychiatrist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, stipend and student loan repayment when applicable

• You will practice at the new Alta View Psychiatry Clinic set to open summer 2027 in Sandy, Utah

• Full-time position providing outpatient care

• ECT Required

• Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with the ability to work 4 10s if desired

What you’ll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Residency training in Psychiatry

• Board certification or eligibility

• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
