Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. The award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (1-5 years) are determined after review of your application.

The Staff Psychiatrist will be located in the Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences Service at the VA Providence Healthcare System, providing inpatient/outpatient psychiatric services. Major duties include:

Must meet conditions of employment including U.S. citizenship, licensure, residency, and other qualifications as detailed.
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry, with a valid license from any US State or territory. Preference for experience with the Serious Mental Illness (SMI) population and community-based services.
Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution, with completed residency training approved by VA standards.
