Mercy Children's Hospital Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity

Mercy Children's Hospital is seeking a PRN board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dedicated team providing in-patient services in St. Louis, Missouri. Our Pediatric Hospitalist team includes 9 physicians, 12 advanced practice providers, and a committed support staff focused on quality patient care.

About Mercy Children's Hospital St. Louis

• 23,000 pediatric emergency visits annually in our modern 12-bed unit.
• 175 pediatric providers, including over 80 fellowship-trained pediatric specialists.
• Over 165 beds in our children's tower, including pediatrics, PICU, Level IV NICU, and behavioral health units.
• 24-hour in-house neonatology and pediatric hospitalist coverage.
• Active child life program in our hospital and pediatric emergency department.
• Educational program for University of Missouri medical students.
• Member of the Children’s Hospital Association.
• System-wide Epic EMR.
• Strong nurse practitioner program supporting the newborn nursery and behavioral health services.

Position Highlights

• Full-time benefits with only 10 shifts per month.
• Attractive block schedules of five nights on/ten nights off, with some flexibility.
• Responsibilities include seeing patients on the Pediatric Floor, Newborn Nursery, and Behavioral Health Unit.
