Job summary

Sun River Health is seeking a part-time Physician to join our team in New York, providing a blended scope of Primary Care, MAT, and Genesis services. The role is 40% Genesis and 60% Primary Care/MAT, in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting focused on underserved communities.

The ideal candidate will have an active NY MD/DO license, DEA registration, board certification, and experience in HIV care and MAT.

Qualifications

• Active and valid license as an MD or DO in New York State.
• Active DEA registration.
• Board certification required.
• Experience in HIV care and MAT/Medication Assisted Treatment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population in a community health setting.
• Commitment to patient-centered care for underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Deliver MAT services to eligible patients with assessment, treatment planning and follow-up.
• Coordinate care with Genesis program leadership and interdisciplinary team.
• Document care accurately and maintain medical records per standards.
• Support HIV prevention initiatives including PrEP/PEP services.
