Job Summary
·Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
·Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.
·Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
·Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
·Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Must have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked; includes age-specific competency
Education
Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Experience
Completion of a IM or FM residency program
Licensure/Certification
Current Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD; other required licenses/board certifications pertinent to specialty/area worked
