Pay Range

Base pay range: $180,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Summary

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which offers student loan repayment assistance. Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria and submit their application within four months of appointment. The program's specifics, including award amounts (up to $200,000) and eligibility periods (1-5 years), are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services.

Duties

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting a Physician to serve in Primary Care. The Physician (Primary Care) will provide comprehensive primary care services, including history taking, physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning for acute and chronic conditions. The provider will lead a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and may assist at different sites as needed.

• Provide clinical examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for primary care patients.
• Monitor team performance to ensure quality and adherence to VA standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and address patient concerns.
• Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team including social work, pharmacy, mental health, and nutrition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Current, unrestricted medical license
• Completed residency training in an approved program
• Proficiency in English

Qualifications

Minimum of two years in primary care preferred. Must meet basic requirements including licensure, training, and citizenship. Foreign graduates must verify credentials with ECFMG.
