Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver professional nursing care in the Physician Practice setting, supporting Healthcare Providers and staff in coordinating safe, efficient patient care.

The RN will triage and determine care disposition, perform clinical nursing tasks, assist providers, and ensure compliance with NY State Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one year experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
• Preferred: Previous experience in an outpatient setting.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Current NY State RN license.
• Documentation of current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days employment.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers professional nursing care in the UHS Physician Practice setting, supporting Healthcare Providers and office staff in the coordination and delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to triaging and care disposition of patients, clinical care, assisting providers as needed, facilitating care transitions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards. The RN is accountable for maintaining compliance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the Patient Bill of Rights. This role promotes a healing and supportive environment, fostering patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit:

Primary Work Shift: Day

Compensation Range: $33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience

You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.
