Responsibilities include but are not limited to triaging and care disposition of patients, clinical care, assisting providers as needed, facilitating care transitions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards. The RN is accountable for maintaining compliance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the Patient Bill of Rights.
