Job summary

Tenet Healthcare, via Carondelet Cardio East, is seeking a Physician Practice Supervisor to manage administrative and operational functions for assigned practices. This working manager role oversees staff, patient relations, inventory, and HIPAA compliance while supporting mission and policies.

The incumbent will ensure smooth operations, maximize reimbursements, and maintain regulatory adherence across locations, serving as a key link between physicians, staff, and patients.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ of experience working in a physician office with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• College degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of fiscal and human resource management in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding, chart audits, HIPAA, and collections.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to lead staff.

Responsibilities

• Optimize staff performance in the office and manage daily operations.
• Schedule staff, train and coach, oversee cash reconciliation, charge entry, and operations checks.
• Enhance physician productivity and patient satisfaction; ensure regulatory compliance and reimbursements; resolve patient issues.
