Job summary

Meritus Medical Center Inc. seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for our Internal Medicine practice.

Under the guidance of the physician and office manager, you will provide general and specialized nursing care, ensuring timely, professional, and compassionate patient service. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with duties including history taking, medication administration, and patient education while using our electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN program.
• Maryland LPN license or Compact state.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• Family Practice nursing experience preferred.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Record patient medical history, medications, and vital signs using EHR.
• Carry out provider orders and deliver nursing care.
• Monitor patient progress and report side effects.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and care needs.
• Administer medications and injections under provider direction.

Monday-Friday 8am- 5pm

We’reseeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Practice Operations team. In this role,you’llprovide general and specialized nursing care under the direction of the attending physician and supervision of the Office Manager.You’llplay a vital role in ensuring patients receivetimely, professional, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Record patient medical history, medications, and vital signs accurately using EHR
• Carry out provider orders and deliver nursing care based on patient needs and care plans
• Monitor patient progress and report side effects or concerns
• Educate and counsel patients and families on procedures, diagnoses, and care needs
• Administer medications and injections under provider direction
• Maintainhigh standardsof documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Experience: Family Practice nursing experience preferred
• Licensure/Certification:
• Current LPN license in Maryland or a Compact state with Multi-State Privilege
• Current BLS (CPR) certification
• Skills:
• Compassionate application of nursing standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic computerproficiency
