Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System invites a dedicated DPM to join our orthopedics and sports medicine group in Idaho. You will provide outpatient and surgical care four days per week, with dedicated blocks for procedures and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach.

Ideal candidates are board-certified or board-eligible, hold an active Idaho license, and have interest in diabetic limb salvage, forefoot and midfoot surgery, and general podiatric care. Contact [e-mail] for more information.

Qualifications

• DPM from an accredited podiatry medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Idaho.
• Current DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy licenses.
• Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System.
• Preferred: diabetic limb salvage, forefoot and midfoot surgery, and general podiatric care.
• Not seeking ankle/hindfoot trauma or ankle reconstruction podiatrist.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care 4 days per week, including outpatient clinic and surgical practice responsibilities and dedicated surgical block time for procedural cases.
• Join a dedicated team of 2 Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Surgeons & 2 Podiatrists.
• Maintain a balanced schedule designed to support a healthy work-life balance.
• Participate in a shared call rotation with Foot & Ankle providers: One week at a time on a rotating basis; Manage post-operative Foot & Ankle surgical patient calls during the global period; Provide occasional emergency department and inpatient consultation coverage.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary partners, including Orthopedic subspecialists, Vascular Surgery, Primary Care providers, and dedicated St. Luke's Would Care team.
• Preferred clinical interests include: diabetic limb salvage, forefoot surgery, midfoot surgery, and general podiatric care.

St. Luke’s has a state-of-the-art Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Boise, Idaho.Other clinical locations include Meridian, ID and Nampa, ID. Our Orthopedic group includes 45 physicians and 29 Advanced Practice Providers within subspecialty service lines that include Adult Reconstruction, Sports Medicine, Pediatric Orthopedics, Foot & Ankle, Hand Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgeons.

  • Specific interests in diabetic limb salvage, forefoot and midfoot surgery, and general podiatric care
  • Not currently seeking an ankle/hindfoot trauma or ankle reconstruction podiatrist
