Job summary

Luminis Health in Annapolis, MD is seeking a physician to provide total medical care for patients within the chosen specialty. Care is delivered in accordance with Maryland regulations and professional guidelines set by BPQA, AMA, HCFA, and AAMC.

You will maintain licensure and pursue ongoing CME credits while collaborating with other physicians and taking on-call duties. The role includes patient education and appropriate referrals to specialists as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with Doctor of Medicine degree.
• Completion of residency in the specified field of specialty.
• Active medical license in Maryland, DEA registration, and CDS certification in specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education and counseling appropriate to medical needs.
• Maintains current medical licensure and required continuing medical education credits.
• Communicates with other physicians about patient treatments and therapy.
• Takes on-call duties for group on scheduled days and refers patients to specialists as needed.
• Performs duties in line with Maryland/state policies and professional guidelines.

Position Objective:

To provide total medical care/services to patients as related to their specialty. Services are provided in accordance with the rules, regulations, and policies established by the job descriptions of the State of Maryland, BPQA, AMA, HCFA, and AAMC.

Essential Job Duties:
