Part-Time Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician Position in Pittsburgh, PA with National Wound Physician Group

Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside wound care in facilities across the geographic area as part of a mobile wound care team.
  • Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day and treat approximately 20-30 patients per day.
  • Utilize point-of-care clinical documentation during rounds using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
  • Participate in paid training during onboarding and the 6-month wound care fellowship.
  • W2 employment with benefits; no visa sponsorship available.
  • Full health and retirement benefits; medical malpractice with tail coverage provided.
Requirements
  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Practice Overview
  • Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
  • No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
  • Mobile practice: physicians visit facilities within a mile radius of the practice location.
  • Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4-5 days per week.
  • All clinical documentation is performed at the point of care during rounds.
  • Staffing includes the ability to work in post-acute care settings with wound care focus.
