St. Luke's Health System is seeking a part-time board certified or board eligible physician to join our highly collegial and patient focused perioperative clinic . We are looking for a candidate to help us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional patient-centered care. We will consider either family medicine or internal medicine residency trained physicians.
Our specialized perioperative clinic utilizes hospitalists and advanced practitioners to assess perioperative risk, optimize management of chronic medical problems perioperatively, and perform appropriate risk stratification when needed before surgery. Our patients receive extensive education about what complications could occur and what they can do to help minimize their risk. Our approach has reduced perioperative complications, same-day cancellations of surgery, and has helped streamline anesthesia care on the day of surgery.
