Job Details

Jefferson Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurosurgery Physician to join our team on a per diem basis. This position supports acute neurosurgical care, including consults and procedures, across multiple Jefferson Health campuses as needed.

Job Description

• Provide neurosurgical consultations in the inpatient and emergency settings
• Perform neurosurgical procedures consistent with candidate's credentialing
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including trauma, neurology, ICU, and hospitalists
• Participate in call coverage rotation
• Document encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the EMR

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA certification
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays
