Physician / Pediatrics / Oregon / Locum tenens / PED - Clinic + newborn rounding - flexible schedule

Pacific Companies, Inc. is seeking a Physician specializing in Pediatrics for a locum tenens position in Oregon City, OR. This opportunity involves clinic work and newborn rounding with a flexible schedule.

The position details are as follows:

  1. Duration: Starting in February, with potential extension in August.
  2. Location: Approximately 90 minutes east of Portland, OR.
  3. Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month, depending on availability.
  4. Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
  5. Night call: Optional, 5 pm - 8 am.
  6. Weekend call: 24 hours, from 8 am Saturday to 8 am Sunday.

Responsibilities include:

  • Newborn rounding.
  • Low-volume pediatric outpatient care.
  • No pediatric med/surg unit work.
  • Assist with deliveries when OBGYN needs help.
  • Provide outpatient primary care for patients aged 0-18, including well and sick visits.

Additional details:

  • Patient volume: 12-16 encounters per day.
  • EMR system: Epic.
  • Work within a multispecialty group alongside other physicians.
  • Academic affiliated office.
  • Affiliated hospital: 50-bed facility, no trauma designation.

Qualifications:

  • Board certified or eligible, with an active or inactive Oregon medical license at the time of application.
