Located in El Paso, TX, Fort Bliss is home to the 1st Armored Division. We are a FORSCOM installation comprising other commands such as MEDCOM, JTF-NORTH, TRADOC, USAR, and others. Fort Bliss encompasses approximately 1.12 million acres in Texas and New Mexico. Must be a U.S. Citizen
Degree: MD, DO, or equivalent from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school. Foreign degrees must be recognized as equivalent by appropriate certifying bodies, such as the ECFMG or through successful completion of the USMLE.
Licensure: Current, active, unrestricted medical license from a U.S. state or territory.
Graduate Training: At least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree, such as an internship or the first year of residency in an accredited program.
Residency Training: Successful completion of an accredited residency in Pediatrics and equivalent experience/training of at least four years. Experience cannot substitute for required residency training.
