A private pediatric practice in Connecticut is currently seeking a licensed Pediatrician for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Fairfield County. About the Opportunity: Specialty: Pediatrics Schedule: 4 days, 32 hours/week Call Schedule: Weekends (1:6 or 1:7) Responsibilities: The Pediatrician will: Monitor children's growth, development, and overall health through regular check-ups and well-child visits Provide vaccinations and immunizations to protect children from various diseases, following recommended schedules and guidelines Diagnose and treat various illnesses and medical conditions affecting children Assess and monitor a child's physical, cognitive, and behavioral development, identifying potential delays or concerns Address behavioral and mental health issues in children Provide immediate care for children in emergency situations, stabilizing and treating injuries and acute medical conditions Manage chronic health conditions in children, coordinating care and treatment plans Conduct various screenings and tests, including vision and hearing tests, blood tests, and developmental assessments, to ensure early detection of any potential health issues Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, documenting health assessments, treatments, and recommendations Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Connecticut Board Certified in Pediatrics Your privacy is important to us.
