Practice Details:

• Sanford Health has an opening for a BC/BE Pediatric Nephrologist to join the region's largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists.
• Team consists of a BC pediatric nephrologist, clinical support staff, and pediatric trained dialysis staff.
• Scope of practice includes outpatient clinic and inpatient consults treating acute and chronic kidney disease, congenital renal anomalies, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, high blood pressure, dialysis therapy, and coordinated follow-up care for post-kidney transplant patients.
• Support from the largest team of more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in more than 25 medical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery.
• Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Brand new Sanford Medical Center houses a 12 bed PICU, with additional flex beds if needed. Floor shared with 20-24 bed pediatric unit, and 40-bed Level III NICU.
• Sanford Health Fargo serves a large catchment area of 1.2 million throughout ND, MN, and parts of SD and MT.
• Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science teaching medical students & family medicine residents as well as an upcoming pediatric residency in 2024.
• Sanford Health Fargo is a Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program (PSLRP) eligible site.
