Job summary

CompHealth invites physicians to practice in Longview, TX, on I-20 between Dallas and Shreveport. This outpatient pediatric setting offers a Monday–Friday schedule, light inpatient call, and a supportive team of a pediatrician and nurse practitioner. Epic EMR and dedicated staff enhance daily workflows.

Leadership opportunities exist, including APC supervision. Texas has no state income tax, and CompHealth assists with license procurement, interview coordination, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic with 3-4 days of inpatient call per month.
• Mon-Fri 8am-5pm schedule, no weekends.
• Join an established pediatrician and nurse practitioner team.
• Call is nurse triage-based and does not require on-site clinic presence during call.
• No C-sections or deliveries; newborn and inpatient rounding during call only.
• Epic EMR with dedicated clinical staff support for each provider.
• Leadership opportunities including APC supervision and department chief.
• No state income tax in Texas; compassionate production-based compensation.

You will enjoy practicing in Longview, on I-20 between Dallas and Shreveport.
