Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary Range: $207,123.00 - $258,903.00
Description

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Medical Director, the physician will perform medical services. The Primary Health Care Physician will examine, diagnose, and treat patients seeking acute medical care. Responsibilities include determining the need for referrals, discussing findings with external providers, supervising physician assistants and nurse practitioners, developing call schedules, providing coverage every 4-6 weeks, and maintaining EHR patient records.

The physician will diagnose and treat common health problems, advise and counsel patients on developmental and maturational issues, and provide information to enable informed decisions. The role involves considering cultural, psychological, social, and environmental factors, coordinating patient services, collaborating with other physicians, and responding to medical emergencies.

For Pediatric providers: They will assess growth and development in children aged 0-18 years, administer immunizations per schedule, and communicate effectively with parents and children.

The physician will participate in QA/QI, QM, and Peer Review meetings, attend ongoing trainings on EHR, PCMH, and CME requirements, review quality measures and patient satisfaction surveys, and implement improvement plans. Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements: Knowledge of Board Certified principles and practices of modern medicine, including preventive medicine. Mature judgment, tact, discretion, and confidentiality are mandatory. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Other Requirements: Dependable vehicle with insurance, valid California driver’s license, ability to pass drug testing, background check, and fitness for duty. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, TB test, Hepatitis B, MMR, and TDAP vaccines required. BLS/CPR certification required.

Qualifications: Valid Physicians and Surgeons Certificate issued by the State of California.
