Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a pediatric neurologist to provide high-quality patient care in the neurology service line. The role involves collaborating with a large multidisciplinary team, contributing to research and education, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support optimal patient outcomes.
The position emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork, and ongoing credentialing in BLS/PALS and specialty training as required by the department.
To plan, implement and evaluate the provision of high-quality medical care, with appropriate resource management, to children and adolescents in the respective clinical area.
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta + Emory Our pediatric neuroscience department is expanding, and we are actively seeking skilled faculty to help us continue providing advanced neurological and epilepsy care. As a member of our team, you’ll be part of one of the largest pediatric neurology programs in the country. You’ll work alongside some of the brightest minds in pediatric neurosciences research to develop preventive, diagnostic and wellness strategies for children with serious neurological illnesses or challenges.
No minimum Experience Required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in respective clinical area.
Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatric Neurology.
Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology. Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia. BLS or PALS certification required. Current DEA registration.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families and as a team member. Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Professional Staff. Demonstrates the following skills in accomplishing job duties and responsibilities: personal organization and time management, human relations and teamwork, personal adaptability, personal motivation, and listening.
