Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent Hospital is looking for a BC or BE Pediatric General Surgeon. We are looking for someone that is comfortable with general and thoracic operations, ECMO and pediatric trauma. This is an exciting opportunity for growth and further development of the Pediatric General Surgery program.
Practice Highlights:
Responsibility is limited to coverage of only 1 location. No expectations to cover offsite locations.
Join a team of 3 pediatric surgeons that established Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital (PMCH) as a Level One Children’s Surgery Verified (CSV) and as a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center.
Opportunity to teach general surgery residents and medical students.
All 3 current surgeons are mid career and would welcome the opportunity to mentor a new grad. Current providers often operate in combo for big cases.
Join a collegial team that works together to prioritize work life balance.
Trauma support provided by APPs 24/7.
Fantastic RN level office help during the week who handle outpatient calls and manage clinic.
Co-management routine by attending level in house support with neonatologists, intensivists and pediatric hospitalists.
Pediatric ER staffed by specialty trained doctors.
Seasoned pediatric support (including a first assistant) for after hour call cases for general surgery and ECMO.
Good cost of living, excellent proximal public schools and minimal traffic for driving in and out of work.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
