UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC pediatric endocrinologist to join our specialized team in a community-based outpatient practice with consultative inpatient coverage.

The practice includes collaboration with subspecialists, access to UW Health resources, on-site diabetes educators, and a new state-of-the-art clinic. Academic appointment and teaching opportunities are available through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford.

Formación

• MD or DO – Required.
• Active Illinois medical license – Required.
• DEA license – Required or ability to apply prior to/upon hire.
• Board certification or board eligible in Endocrinology; must be obtained within 5 years.
• Bi-annual CPR certification – Preferred.

Job Summary

UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC pediatric endocrinologist to join our specialized team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the care of children and adolescents with endocrine disorders while working alongside dedicated colleagues in a community-based outpatient practice with consultative inpatient coverage.

Your practice includes the following:

• Collaboration with experienced pediatric subspecialists and access to UW Health resources.
• On-site certified diabetes educators, clinical dieticians, and clinical pharmacists with expertise in pediatric care.
• A newly renovated, state-of-the-art clinic equipped for advanced endocrine and diabetes care.
• Access to an ADA-recognized diabetes education program with dedicated RN and RD educators.
• Built-in referral base as member of the region's leading group for primary care providers
• Extended support from pediatric specialists at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI.
• Academic appointment and teaching opportunities available through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford.
