Job summary

Barton Associates, Inc. seeks a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinologist for a 90-day assignment in Alaska. The physician will manage endocrine testing, CGM, insulin pump therapy, and thyroid imaging as part of growth disorder evaluation.

Clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 with weeknight and weekend beeper call. Travel expenses are covered; board certification is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatric endocrinologist with active US licensure.
• EMR: Epic is used in clinical workflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform endocrine function and stimulation tests
• Manage CGM and insulin pump therapy
• Evaluate diagnostic imaging including thyroid ultrasounds
• Assess growth disorders and develop treatment plans
• Provide clinic and after-hours beeper call coverage

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinologist for a 90-day assignment in Alaska. This Physician will manage endocrine function and stimulation tests, CGM, insulin pump management, and evaluate diagnostic imaging including thyroid ultrasounds for growth disorders. The schedule involves clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, complemented by weeknight and weekend 24-hour beeper call. Our client is open to full-time commitment or multiple providers covering at least one week per month.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform endocrine function and stimulation tests
• Manage Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)
• Handle insulin pump management
• Evaluate diagnostic imaging
• Conduct thyroid ultrasounds
• Manage growth disorders

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Pediatric Endocrinology required
• EMR: Epic
• Required certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of House Call, with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour beeper call on weekends
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day
• LOA: 90 Days
