Job summary

Barton Associates seeks a board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for a 90-day assignment in Alaska. The physician will manage endocrine testing, CGM, insulin pumps, and assess growth disorders, with imaging interpretation including thyroid ultrasounds.

Clinic hours are 8 AM–5 PM, with weeknight and weekend 24-hour beeper call. Travel expenses are covered and a dedicated recruiter supports future travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatric endocrinologist required.
• EMR: Epic used for documentation.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform endocrine function and stimulation tests.
• Manage CGM and insulin pump management.
• Evaluate diagnostic imaging including thyroid ultrasounds.
• Manage growth disorders and assess pediatric endocrine issues.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinologist for a 90-day assignment in Alaska. This Physician will manage endocrine function and stimulation tests, CGM, insulin pump management, and evaluate diagnostic imaging including thyroid ultrasounds for growth disorders.

The schedule involves clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, complemented by weeknight and weekend 24-hour beeper call. Our client is open to full-time commitment or multiple providers covering at least one week per month.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform endocrine function and stimulation tests
• Manage Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)
• Handle insulin pump management
• Evaluate diagnostic imaging
• Conduct thyroid ultrasounds
• Manage growth disorders

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Pediatric Endocrinology required
• EMR: Epic
• Required certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of House Call, with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour beeper call on weekends
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day
• LOA: 90 Days
