Geisinger is seeking an exceptional Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) trained physician to join our team at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, PA.

Job Duties

At Geisinger, our innovative ideas are inspired by the communities, patients, & families we serve. We provide high-quality pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) services across central, south-central, & northeast PA, utilizing tools like telemedicine and a robust EHR for pediatric decision support to reach underserved populations. Our facilities include a 45-bed Emergency Department, a newly designed 9-bed pediatric zone, and the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, a 90-bed facility with specialized pediatric services.

We seek candidates with superior clinical and interpersonal skills, who are PEM fellowship-trained, and interested in program development, medical education, and research.

Position Details

GMC is a large tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital with 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds, and is a Level 1 Trauma Center. The Janet Weis Children’s Hospital offers comprehensive pediatric care, including a Level IV NICU and PICU.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Licensed Medical Doctor in Pennsylvania
