We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pathologist to join a well-established private group near Myrtle Beach, SC, offering laboratory direction and a diverse range of pathology services. The position involves a shared call and rotation schedule, focusing on general surgical pathology and active cytology practices, while working in a supportive and fully equipped lab environment. In addition to general surgical pathology (including GI, GU, GYN, breast, head and neck, hematologic, pulmonary, general surgery/oncology), the group has an active cytology practice including ThinPrep Pap smears, fluids, and image guided FNAs (EBUS, EUS, radiology).

• Group provides ROSE for the FNAs with the support of an excellent cytotech.
• Support of a well-staffed and well-equipped histology laboratory and general laboratory.
• No autopsies or CNS pathology.

The goal is to have three pathologists to share weekly call duties (low activity) and other responsibilities in a three day rotation: grossing day, slide reading day, and clinical/catch up day.
