Qualifications

• BC/BC pathologist required.
• Experience in surgical and GI pathology preferred.
• Willingness to handle blood bank responsibilities.

Job description

Seeking an eager and dedicated full time BC/BC pathologist. 35 to 50 cases read per day, split between 2 pathologists.

• Monday - Friday 8a to 5 p. Call Schedule: Weekly (alternate week), start at Friday 5:00 pm, finish at next Friday 8:00am.
• Assist in the preparation and performance of human tissue examinations
  
• Complete dissection provide description of certain surgical cases daily
  
• Selects and submits appropriate sections for routine microscopic examinations, frozen sections, etc.
  
• Covers clinical laboratory, including blood bank
  
• Supports surgical department for select procedures
  
• Surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology (No GYN cytology specimen)
