Job description

Thriving private, independent, pathologist-owned and operated surgical pathology and cytology laboratory located in Northern Central California is seeking an AP/CP Board Certified Pathologist for a full-time hospital-based position.

  1. The candidate will serve as a General Surgical Pathologist, handling approximately 5,000 surgical cases annually.
  2. The role involves providing full-time hospital coverage alongside two other pathologists.
  3. The ideal candidate should be willing to perform radiology adequacy assessments and engage with surgeons during frozen sections in the OR.
  4. This position also requires acting as a liaison between hospital administration, medical staff, and our organization.
We Provide:
  • Dedicated customer service representatives to assist with specimen requirements, handling, results, pick-up, and supplies.
  • IT interfaces to EHR/EMR, online report access, customized color reports, and 24-hour IT support.
  • Courier services with customized and STAT pick-ups.
  • In-house billing support with representatives available for questions regarding charges and insurance filings.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $XX,XXX per year.
