Job summary

CHRISTUS Health's ENT clinic in San Antonio is expanding its outpatient ENT services, welcoming a general ENT surgeon with opportunities to develop a facial plastic and reconstructive focus.

You will work with a lean, on-site team including an audiologist and dedicated front-office staff, with Epic used in clinic and hospital settings. The schedule is Monday–Thursday 8 AM–5 PM and Friday 8 AM–3 PM, with 5–10 surgeries per week and no inpatient rounding or trauma call.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Otolaryngology specialization.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Join ENT service line focused on general ENT with potential to develop sinus/allergy subspecialty.
• Clinic 3 days/week, 1–2 OR days, half-day procedure clinic; 5–10 surgeries/week.
• No trauma or ER call; lean, efficient on-site team support.
• Work with Epic EMR in Clinic and Hospital.

ENT Practice Overview, Team & Office Staff

San Antonio offers a vibrant, growing metropolitan market with a wonderful quality of life, excellent schools, and no state income tax. Within this thriving region, our established outpatient Otolaryngology (ENT) practice operates in the highly desirable Stone Oak market. The incoming physician will join an established solo‑physician practice model historically focused on general ENT with a specialized subspecialty in sinus and allergy care. You will be supported by a dedicated, lean, and efficient on‑site team consisting of 1 audiologist, 1 Medical Assistant (MA), and multiple front office staff. Backed by a robust primary care network generating over 700 ENT‑specific referrals annually, our clinic provides an immediate, full-volume patient base managing existing overflow.

Position Overview & What We Are Looking For

We are looking to expand our ENT service line and are open to candidates interested in plastics and head and neck, while also needing to handle bread‑and‑butter work.

Practice Highlights

• Call Structure: ZERO trauma or ER call. No inpatient rounding. Informal, shared post‑op call only.
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday (8 AM–5 PM) and Fridays (8 AM–3 PM).
• Clinical Scope: 3 clinic days, 1–2 OR days, and a ½ day procedure clinic. Expect 5–10 surgeries/week.
• Efficient Surgical Setup: Dedicated block time at a highly efficient, off‑site ambulatory surgery center (ASC). 95% of cases are outpatient.
• Patient Mix: General ENT foundation with a wide‑open opportunity to build a Facial Plastic & Reconstructive service line.
• Integrated Support: Lean, efficient clinic staff with an on‑site Audiologist.
• EMR: Epic in Clinic and Hospital.
