Qualifications

• New York State licensure is required to practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• DEA license is required for prescribing controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and APCs.
• General Orthopedic Call with Orthopedic Hospitalist.
• Referral base of over 150 Primary Care Clinicians.
• Full support staff including APCs with Surgical Residents and Medical Students interaction.
• Group employed model with visa sponsorship.
• Participate in ongoing patient care across trauma and elective cases.

Job description

Fellowship training encouraged but not a requirement. This surgeon would have a dedicated OR trauma room for urgent and \"cold trauma' cases. There would also be time allotted for elective trauma reconstructive practice. There are separate call schedules for Spine and Hand. The practice covers one centrally located ER.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $588,390 - $690,684*


• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards


• Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000


• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
