WVUHS Medical Group is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Physician. The successful candidate will primarily practice in Martinsburg, WV.
Responsibilities: Practice in orthopedic trauma, offering diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of the musculoskeletal system, alongside WVU Medicine's orthopedic and sports medicine providers.
Qualifications: MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent), eligibility for state medical license, completed an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery residency, and an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery is required by the time of appointment.
A 195-bed non-profit hospital offering radiology, wound care, NICU, ICU, oncology, neurosurgery, and cardiac services. Recent expansions include new outpatient and main hospital ORs focusing on robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health.
Located just over an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD, with a rural atmosphere, lower cost of living, and growing high-tech industries. The area experiences little congestion, with a steady influx of professionals from nearby urban centers.
